With 40 years experience in construction and engineering, I produce technical drawings and 3d models, for Architectural, M.E.P. and Engineering disciplines, often combining them together. Working direct for a client or as part of a small team. Both throughout the UK & worldwide via the internet using online storage with Microsoft Teams for meetings.
My portfolio varies greatly, from small individual property renovations, to large commercial construction projects for the food industry & utilities. P&ID drawings. MEP, electrical and mechanical containment layouts. Prototype blue prints & fabrication drawings for existing or bespoke plant & machinery. Service routing, schematics, GA’s & RCP’s. DXF files for CNC cutting.
Commercial Building Design
Many of my projects are commercial building footprints. I start by creating a model of the building from existing drawings or a site survey. Then working with the client or their development team fit the shell out with office space, canteen, workshops & storage. These projects can be anything from a basic portal unit to a working factory. Alterations to existing facilities can be scheduled & planned in phases, repurposing one area for a short period while another undergoing major works therefore minimising disruption.
Large complex projects are not a problem

Access Gantries & Industrial Platform Fabrication Drawings
Each part in the gantry below apart from the steps & ladders, use the same external blue print sketch. Any change to the blue print sketch & any part that references it will also update, ensuring all the bolts holes & end connections still fit.
